Here’s a checklist to troubleshoot this issue:

1. Make sure you selected a .doc or .docx file
2. Check that the file is not bigger than 5MB
3. Open the document in your Microsoft Word editor – Does it open without error or warning?
4. Make sure the document is not password protected
5. Try to upload your document a second time
6. Check that your Internet connection is working while you’re uploading your file

If the issue remains, please contact support. Mention your account name, the user who tried to upload the file, the name of the file you tried to upload and the time when the upload failed.
